For textile industry, the raw materials and the fabrication process can produce many toxic chemicals, which can pollute water, soil and even jeopardize the health of human health such as rashes, allergies, respiratory and concentration problems due to chemical sensitivities. The good news is that the consumer starts to realize the cost of garments are not just the ones listed on the labels, so the demand for renewable, sustainable, and even recycled fabrics are increasing.
The eco-friendly fibers and the fabrication environment are vital for fabric manufacturing. For Amsens Fabric, we offer the environment-friendly fabrics, which are made from fibers, like Hemp, Organic Cotton and Tencel. Meanwhile, considering the cost of fabrics and the diversity of fashion, we manufacture many collections of fabrics, which are blended with the eco-fibers and the traditional fiber, like the hemp/cotton, Tencel/cotton, linen/cotton and so on.
The main eco-friendly fibers we use as below:
Hemp: It does not need pesticides or fertilizers to grow with the feature of naturally UV resistant and biodegradability. Hemp had been used in many products for a long time in human history.
Organic Cotton: This is cotton grown without toxic pesticides or fertilizers.
Tencel: Made from wood pulp from fast growing trees. Most of the used chemicals go back into the production cycle; therefore do not pollute the environment.
Our manufacturing technique and process are professional and keep fabrics toxic free. Health, fashion and sustainability are our top three priorities when we design and manufacture fabrics. We use environmental and Low-impact dyes which has a higher than average absorption rate. The Low-impact dyes do not contain heavy metals, which are very big threats to human body. They do not need toxic chemical mordents as the auxiliary neither.
